Prior to arrival at the track event evaluate car for suitability for high speed run group(s). Evaluation to include, but not limited to inspection of at least the items shown below. Check off items that pass , circle those items that fail and describe in comment section. With the possible exception of brake pad/shoes, inspection should be done to the extent possible by visual examination without disassembly. Feel free to use "Comments".

_____Brake fluid - DOT 4 or better, less then two months old at time of track event.Date last changed: _______.
_____Brake calipers, cylinders, lines, and hoses - no leaks or bulges, everything serviceable and suitable.
_____Brake light - bright.
_____Steering - no excessive play, no binding.
_____Tie rod ends - no excessive wear or weakness of springs, shocks, and other components.
_____Ball joints, king pins - no excessive wear.
_____Front wheel bearings - correct play, tightness meets specifications.
_____Wheels - true, serviceable and suitable (check wire wheel spokes).
_____Car battery cut off operational, (if installed).
_____Roll bar/cage required for fully open cars.
_____Tires - VR, ZR or race tires as required. Adequate tread, good condition, and uniform wear pattern.
_____Accessory drive belts - good condition, proper tightness.
_____Hoses, fuel lines, wires - good condition, securely fastened.
_____Engine, transmission, differential - absence of excessive leaks, mounts tight.
_____Other leaks - oil, grease, water, gasoline - nothing out of the ordinary.
_____Radiator - not likely to fail.
_____Battery - hold down secure, caps tight, terminals clean.
_____Throttle - quick and positive return action.
_____Driveshaft, half-shafts, joints, CV boots and bearings - appear sound and secure: no excessive leaks/play.
_____Exhaust system - sound, secure, and no leaks.
_____Body and frame - no loose panels, dangerous protrusions, or structural decay.
